BIMcon 2023 Summit by BIMTECH Association ‘buildingSMART. Romania’

This week, we were present at the highly significant BIMcon 2023 Conference, an annual event organized by the BIMTECH Association in Romania (in collaboration with buildingSMART International). The conference was focused on advancing the digitization and optimization of processes within the construction industry.

Our participation allowed us to engage with experts in the fields of technology and automation, giving us insight into the most up-to-date global processes. This involvement aligns us with the evolving vision of the construction industry, one that aligns with the requirements of contemporary society and necessitates extensive restructuring.

We had access to concepts such as openBIM, automation, data intelligence with sprinkle of A.I., and pilot projects during this event. Furthermore, we participated in working groups with experts who play an important role in improving the built environment.

BIM (Building Information Modeling) is a three-pillared concept that is based on technology, collaboration, and standardization. This results in shorter design and execution times due to better coordination of specialties, fewer errors, and fewer material losses on-site. In fact, it streamlines the bidding-supply-planning process, reducing time, costs, and building carbon footprint.

Our commitment to constructing to the highest standards isn’t solely due to our expertise; it’s also fueled by our unwavering passion for continuous learning and practical application. In a world that is in a constant state of evolution, we enthusiastically align ourselves with this movement towards the future and are thrilled to to have colleagues who share this direction.

We are presented with limitless challenges and opportunities, both in the realm of fluid infrastructure and residential construction.
