The most serious labor crisis in our industry is not one of high-skilled labor. We have plenty of engineers and design engineers. It’s a contradiction. We have a labor shortage. It is a labor-intensive industry that cannot be automated or robotized. Welding is automated; we are one of only two companies in Romania with automatic and semi-automatic welding installations for large pipes. However, these must also be monitored by a human, an employee.”
